+ your equipement doesn't need to be repaired as often.Įconomy sucks and there is no rythme or reason to why a particular fish is more valuable then the next.

Unless you like to put your own money into the game every 2 days because you've lost your ass spending 20 min + landing giant fish that pay you a 1/4 of what you can catch in bass. It wasn't my intention to use the 'wrong gear' (if it's even true that was the reason) but even so, the results were not what inline with previous catches, + not much experience catching Tarpon.Īny way the lesson for me is that there is absolutely no reason to fish Tarpon at ALL. I get penalized for using gear too strong for the size of the fish, but the opposite is not true? I guess you're just part of the crew that whenever someone points out unbalanced game play, you tell them 'what do you expect for free?' or 'no one is forcing you to play' etc. I just think you want a balanced system here. Why would you assume I went only for Tarpons? Really, the point I was trying to make, is that in most games, the difficulty of what you are trying to achieve is rewarded by giving more exp points or maybe more $ relative to the difficulty level, or people will simply take the easy way and grind bass all day long.
